This Menopause Yoga Workshop has been lovingly created to provide you with guidance, reflection and support.

Menopause Yoga is a lovely way of managing your symptoms and your mindset.

This Menopause Yoga workshop is a reenergising practice to help build bone density through weight bearing poses.

Improve muscle strength, increase the heart rate and build stamina, tone the midriff, help manage weight gain and lift a low mood and lethargy.

Optional:

A soul nourishing plant-based lunch, lovingly prepared by our on-site Crow Spotter Café.

We begin our day with a range of hot refreshments and treats followed by an introduction from Zoe

Zoe will then hold space for the Women’s Circle.

This will be a safe space where we can come together to share experiences and knowledge. You will have an opportunity to connect with other women on the same path, to support each other, and to speak freely without judgement. Together we can celebrate our unique diversity and remember the power and wisdom of feminine energy.

Yoga

Zoe will guide you through a dynamic Hatha Yoga class to help manage weight grain, lift your mood and lethargy. Focusing on energising the metabolic system with Sun Salutations that increase the heart rate and build stamina. It includes poses that improve muscle strength, weight bearing poses for bone density, twists to stimulate digestion, lateral side stretches to tone the midriff, heart opening poses to life low mood.

Yin Yoga and Restorative poses towards the end of the session, finishing with breathing exercise and meditation.  

Time to Reflect

A chance for journaling and a time of self-reflection.

As women, we have suffered in silence going through this upheaval alone.

There has been little information on how to manage the symptoms of Perimenopause, Menopause to Post Menopause.

A lack of oestrogen can affect many parts of our body causing all kinds of symptoms emotionally and physically, the feeling that “someone has taken over my body.”

We now have a wealth of knowledge about nutrition, natural remedies, complimentary therapies, HRT exercise and my personal favourite - Menopause Yoga - to help manage menopause symptoms.

It’s important to have you time to ‘Meno-Pause’, to connect with your true feelings and thoughts no matter how scary that might be, to know there is support guidance and help available.

This is an opportunity for Self-growth as we move into this very special stage in our life called “Second Spring”

You will leave the practice feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and healthy.

Zoe is a Senior and experienced Yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance UK, and a Menopause Yoga Accredited Teacher.
