On an all-inclusive Yoga Holiday in Southern Italy with amazing walking and hiking trails. Set in a beautiful architecturally designed country house located in the middle of vineyards and olive groves.

With amazing views of the Majella mountains and Adriatic Sea.

Abruzzo boasts the title of “Greenest Region in Europe” thanks to one third of its territory, the largest in Europe, being set aside as national parks and protected nature reserves. In the region there are three national parks, one regional park and 38 protected nature reserves. These protected areas ensure the survival of 75% of all of Europe’s living species and are also home to some rare species, such as the small wading dotterel, golden eagle, Abruzzo chamois, Apennine wolf and Marsican brown bear. Abruzzo is also home to Calder one, Europe’s southern most glacier. The Majella National park and the region take good care to make sure hiking paths are well marked. The Majella offers both easy access paths as well as more difficult trails. We will be taken to the parts where we can explore the ravines, ridges and rivers by experienced guides.

House

The architecturally designed house has two floors with a large terrace, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served if the weather allows.

The terrace is also used as an outdoor lounge. Sitting on the terrace you will have views over a rural valley of vineyards and olive tree, the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountains in the background.

Yoga

Our Yoga will take place on a private, open-air, shaded Yoga Shala, overlooking the vineyards, Adriatic Sea and Majella mountains.

Our morning Yoga practice will start each day, with Pranayama, meditation and Asana. The Asana practice will be a flowing class, much emphasis will be placed on the breath, helping you to achieve a moving meditational practice, calming both body and mind.

We will guide and challenge you at a level suitable to your needs. Treating you with care and respect, there will be asserted hands on adjustments to help you deepen your asana and correct alignment.

The afternoon session will be designed around different workshops, our special tips and tricks will allow you to achieve those poses you’ve been wanting to do!!

Time for you to ask questions, and of course lots of laughs!!

This retreat is not just for those, who already have a regular yoga practice, but also for those who have just begun their yoga journey and wants to include this meditative and rejuvenate practice into his or her lives.

 All the classes and workshops are optional, this is your holiday, you are free to do as much or as little as your body and hearts desires. 

Rooms

All our eight guest rooms are en suits. The are all on the same floor, facing our olive grove, pool area and valley below. Choose from either double bed or twin beds. All rooms have the benefit of under floor heating and bath.

The Pool

The three lane 25 meter long pool provides the serious swimmer with an on site training. Or just a relaxing swim and a lay by the pool is beautiful.

Food

We work to offer a balanced and healthy diet. The area offers good produce and it is a pleasure to cook and present the food here.

For our yoga groups we usually prepare some tea and coffee ready before you start your first session. If you prefer you can have Ingrid’s detox juice in the morning, a tea made from fresh garlic, ginger, apple cider vinegar, a bit of honey, a tad of pineapple juice (so it is drinkable!) or mix your own from parts of this, if you like! How ever – it is nice to rinse your throat and stomach with something, before starting in the morning if you are used to this.

Our breakfast consists of a large buffet with something for everyone. Depending on the group preferences, vegetarian or mix eating, we serve both warm and cold dishes. Overnight oat, eggs, ham (different kinds), banana pancakes, yogurt, fruits and different types of seeds and nuts or plain cornflakes/bran flakes, to mention some. Bread from the local bakery made in the morning. If you are gluten intolerant we will offer you gluten free crisp breads.

For lunch we try to adapt to the group's need for energy. We have chosen to always present the food in a buffet form in order to be able to adapt the intake as desired. For dinner we almost always serve a starter (an anti-pasto) and a main course (secondo) and a dessert (dolce). If the group likes – we serve wine of the house to the meals.

The food can be adapted to the needs of the participants, eg. vegetarian, lactose and / or gluten intolerance, nut allergy or the like. We take allergies seriously and strict diets are of course respected.

We balance the purchases between locally produced and organic. We lean heavily on locally produced and try to get to know the producers as much as possible. The tap water comes from the mountains and is very good and we have chosen not to transport the water in bottles.

Prices

Price Includes transfers, full board, accommodation, wine, excursions, guided walk, daily yoga sessions and 3 afternoon sessions.

We are offering an £100 early bird discount. This offer will end on 30th April 2019

A non-refundable deposit of £275 is to be paid upon booking to secure your place.

The remaining balance is due by 12th July 2019

Your 7-day Retreat Schedule

Arrival day will be the 12th September leaving 19th September 2019.

8-10am Daily Pranayama and Meditation

2 hours morning yoga practice Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Trapeze Yoga.

10.15 Breakfast

1.30 Lunch

5.30pm afternoon three x 90 minutes yoga workshops.

7.30pm Dinner

Getting to Pescara Southern Italy

Please make sure that your flights actually goes to Pescara ( Abruzzo International Airport).

We will pick you up from here.
