Set in a secluded location, Santillan is an Andalusian paradise. A farm of 50,000 sq, metres, it is located in the peace of the Spanish countryside, and yet is conveniently only 20 minutes from Malaga airport.

You can immerse yourself in the silence of nature in its lovely gardens and surrounding hills. It is the perfect setting for your yoga and meditation retreat.

You can relax in the extensive gardens or round the saltwater pool, and at night can enjoy star-gazing under the dark night sky – we can provide a bonfire outside for those cooler nights.

The Location. 

Set in a secluded location, Santillan is an Andalusian paradise. It’s located in the countryside, surrounded by the silence of the mountain and with wonderful sea views.  The family atmosphere, the delicacy of service, gardens, small corners and interior spaces make it an ideal venue for yoga, retreats or explore meditation, deepening silence and stillness space.

Santillan is located in Rincon de la Victoria, 20 kilometres from the centre of the capital of the Costa del Sol, Malaga. It is nestled in a Malaga hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Santillan is only 25 km away from Malaga´s airport and the train station (RENFE) and Bus are 24 km away.

The Accommodation.  

Santillan has 20 rooms, each individually styled, paying special attention to colour, harmony and balance with the environment. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with magnifying mirror, hairdryer and welcome products, air-conditioning, heating and each comes with a private outdoor space, either verandah or terrace, with lovely views of the gardens, surrounding hills or down the valley to the sea.

Your Teachers

Zoe, David and Ellie are warm and caring yoga teachers who have a wealth of experience in Yoga and Fitness. They will guide and challenge you at a level suitable to your needs. This retreat is not just for those, who already have a regular yoga practice, but also for those who have just begun their yoga journey and wants to include this meditative and rejuvenate practice into his or her lives.

Your Yoga experience will start each day, with pranayama and meditation followed by a flowing class of either Ashtanga or Vinyasa Yoga. Much emphasis will be placed on the breath, synchronising breathing and movement in the asanas (pose). It improves blood circulation relieves joint pain and removes toxins and disease from the internal organs, healing the body from the inside out.

Treating you with care and respect, there will be asserted hands on adjustments to help you deepen your asana and correct alignment. 

The afternoon session will be designed around different, workshops and group sessions including educational talks, breath work, restorative yoga, inversions, arm balance, the awareness of your body in connection to your yoga practice and mediation.

With so much stress in our lives today, we will work together, helping you to maintain peace and calm on your life’s journey, through this gentle yet powerful practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation. Giving you health and wellbeing.
