Join Zoe and Jane for a nourishing day of yoga themed around the energy of Winter.
A warm and welcoming room will be waiting for you to roll out your mat.
Spend a day to yourself to help you slow down, breathe deeply, stretch, re energise and bring your whole system into a parasympathetic state - being, not doing!
We will start with breath work exercises focusing on the importance of the breath with movement, to ground and boost immunity and assist with connecting
with the subtle energy within.
The physical practice will be a flowing Vinyasa practise to awaken and invigorate the body leading into a stabilising and strengthening Zen Yoga practice, which is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on the winter element of water and the health of the kidneys and bladder.
There will be a nutritious and nourishing plant-based lunch.
After lunch there will be an introduction to a healing somatic practise leading into a restorative and gentle yin practice working with the natural rhythms of nature, focussing on the health of chi energy in the body via the meridians (energetic channels) again stimulating the kidneys and bladder and allowing the mornings work to deeply absorb and integrate into our bodies and mind. In this session we will also introduce some acupressure points and gentle sound healing with Koshi wind chimes.
The day will culminate with a deeply healing and powerful Nidra meditation also known as Psychic sleep.
Teas/ herbal teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day and we will end with minced pies and mulled wine.
