'Practice Practice Practice and all is coming!'
Yoga Studies and Training details:
Zoe began her path in life as a dancer at the age of 4. This was her passion, which took her all over the world.
Health and fitness has always been an important part of her life, and at the age of 25 she started working as a fitness instructor.
14 years ago Zoe began teaching Body Balance. This opened a whole new Yoga world to her. After exploring the different Yoga disciplines, she discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. She had to focus inwards through the use of breath, and was amazed at the inner peace she discovered - this gave her a sense of healing throughout her body and mind.
Wanting to deepen her Yoga practice in 2007, she went to Yoga Thailand to do an intensive 2 months teachers’ training. Zoe’s on-going passion for health & wellbeing has led her on an exciting journey of self-discovery. Studying in India and Asia, she has experimented with both ancient & modern cleansing practices. She has also study different approaches to diet and nutrition, along with ways to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
In 2015, Zoe was awarded the title of Senior Yoga Teaching with Yoga Alliance. She had to teach for minimum 4000 hours over 8 years!
In 2010 Jason Bergin introduced her to Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boarding. The paddleboard makes a fine yoga mat, and together they created Sup-Yoga.
Zoe is now a trainer for ASI in Sup Yoga and wrote the manuals together with ASI for Sup Fitness Level 1 and 2.
Zoe brings love and compassion to her teaching. She has a gift at seeing other people’s abilities. Thus she can take them out of their comfort zone, and push them safely to their limits. With her support and love she makes them feel like anything possible!
For Zoe, the most amazing and rewarding thing is watching her students flow through their yoga practice with grace, acceptance and an open heart.
2007: Ashtanga Yoga Thailand under the guidance of Paul Dallaghan and Neil Barker, to whom she will always be grateful for their pure love for the practice, and for their inspiration and support.
